This blog is operated by ESB retired staff for ESB retired staff.
A blog is a two-way communications vehicle or indeed a multi-way vehicle if various parties wish to contribute their piece on any particular issue. Just click the ‘comment’ button below an item and get your response in.
The operators of the blog have enabled a ‘moderator’ system to allow contributions to be previewed. If in the opinion of the operating team the contribution is offensive, libellous or simply needs correction, it will be referred back to the contributing author for attention. Otherwise, off you go!
You may offer your contribution under your own name or under a pseudonym or nickname. The system demands that you show your email address when offering a comment or article. Your privacy will be respected as you wish and email addresses are not published except where you choose to include it deliberately – say where you may want direct replies to go to you. You are requested to sign off with your pseudonyn/nickname which will indicate that you wish not to have your email address published.
It is hoped that retired staff will use the blog to cover news items, social events, welfare issues etc. We will open a category for any item which proves topical or useful. Incidentally, if you have a picture covering your event, please include it in jpeg format.
ESB Retired Staff Association Newsletters may be included as the local branch requests.
Should you require assistance or explanation of the blog requirements you may enter your query as a comment by pressing the ‘comment’ button below. Nothing to it!
Enjoy the craic. Blog on!!
